Each publisher in PX has one of the account types: API, call, common or branded. The account type of the publisher is configured in publisher settings.
API publishers
API publishers use their own sources of lead generation and send their requests with leads directly to PX API using vertical specifications. These publishers can use either ping post or direct post posting type.
API publishers don't use offers in the platform directly and don't have offer configurations in their settings.
API publishers have access to the dashboard, offers, leads, billing, integration, and the following reports:
Common publishers
Common publishers place links on their websites and bring traffic to PX lead forms. As soon as the customer fills in the form with contact data and vertical-specific information, the form converts this information into the lead request and sends it to PX. This means that common publishers don't deal with any leads, they bring traffic to the lead forms that belong to PX.
Common lead publishers use direct post posting type and have access to the dashboard, offers, billing, and the following reports:
- Ping post and shared sales cannot be configured for common publishers.
- Common publishers can't be linked to PMP accounts.
Branded publishers
Branded publishers act as private sources and sell leads privately to their Private marketplaces through branded pages.
They have access to the same set of pages and reports as common publishers. In addition, PX managers can enable Leads overview access for them in publisher settings.
Branded publishers can't be included in Master publisher accounts for now.
Call publishers
Сall publishers post phone numbers or Click to Call buttons on their websites. When customers click on it, the certain campaign's number is dialed.
Call publishers work with PX call offers that are created and managed solely in PX and have no HasOffers integration.
Call publishers have access to the dashboard, offers, billing, and the following reports:
