DID (Data Provider ID) is the phone number received from call tracking partners like Invoca or Dialogtech, through which publisher can send the call to the campaign.
DID functionality allows call publishers identify the campaign with appropriate settings using Selected Buyers flow. After the data post, DID is passed back to the publisher and can be used to direct the call to the corresponding campaign.
One campaign can be mapped to several publishers, but each campaign and publisher pair can be mapped to one data provider.
In order to enable passing DIDs for the particular publisher and campaign pair, configure the following:
- Set Transfer datapost type and DID in Publisher Settings;
- Map the publisher ID and DID in Campaign Settings.
Publisher Settings
Go to Admin -> Publishers, select the desired publisher and click Action -> Edit.
Navigate to General settings and click the pencil icon to edit them.
- Select Transfer Datapost in Type drop-down list (if you don't see this option in the list, start typing it in the Search field) :
- Select DID in the Passback Settings field together with other options that you prefer to be passed back.
Campaign Settings
Go to Campaign Settings, navigate to Publisher Data Provider IDs section and click Add DID:
Map the campaign to the desired publisher by selecting it in Publisher ID drop-down list (only publishers with Transfer Datapost type are available for selection).
Enter the corresponding data provider ID received from call tracking partner in Publisher DID field, and click Save.
A new row will appear in the table below:
If you map the publisher that has already been mapped to this campaign, the old DID will be automatically replaced with a new one.
Click Details to edit or remove the data provider ID:
Enter another value and click Save, or click Remove -> Yes to delete the DID.
