Brand explicit consent solution allows PX publishers and buyers to comply with the new regulations that demand express explicit consent from consumers.
By configuring brands and connecting them to lead and call & lead campaigns, PX can ensure that consumers can give individual consent to specific buyers, before the buyers receive the lead.
How to configure brand consent flow in PX platform
Publisher configurations
The following publisher types can participate in brand consent flow: API and Common / Branded.
- Set the publisher to fixed pricing (direct post) OR set ping post type to Exclusive or Shared
- Set Bid type to Calculation or Correction.
- Set Ping timeout as long as possible: if one of the potential buyers fails to reply on time, the entire response fails.
- Set Brand consent required to Yes.
If publisher wishes to participate in both brand consent and usual flows, create a separate publisher account for brand consent leads exchange.
Match Ping request
As soon as configurations are done, publishers can use our API 2.0 Specifications for Brand Consent to send Match Ping request before the lead submission, allowing us to obtain a list of potentially eligible brands and their indicative bids:
- Match Ping request should contain as much lead data as possible, however, the only required field is ZIP code.
- Lead data is then analyzed by PX and run against potential buyers’ filters and deduplication rules in order to find the best-matching buyers.
- As an output, PX provides the list of unique Brands, any available supplemental brand information, and an indicative bid for each brand.
- Publisher can show the brands to the lead on their branded page, collect consent, and send it as a part of the lead data to PX.
In brand consent flow, publishers should not send ping request anymore - it will be rejected. Bid calculation is performed on Match Ping stage.
Post / Direct post request
Post and Direct post requests must include all lead information with Brand Consent section listing all consented brands.
Buyer configurations
Buyer that would like to use Brand explicit consent feature must send the required information to client success team.
When all information is received, integrations team makes the following configurations:
- Create and configure brand(s) in Campaigns -> Brand management menu.
- Enable brand consent flow and connect the corresponding lead buyer campaign or call & lead campaign to brand(s) created.
- Set Ping timeout as short as possible: if one of the potential buyers fails to reply on time, the entire response fails.
- For shared direct post campaigns, indicate Parent brand GUID as a Leg name.
- For aggregator ping post campaigns, connect multiple brands and map Split and Brand name buyer responses on Step 3 of API configuration.

Brand consent flow analytics is available in Match ping report.
