Publisher PMP accounts can sell leads from private publishers to both private campaigns connected to the PMP and virtual Open Exchange campaigns.
To configure and track the lead flow between Publisher PMP and open exchange, follow these steps:
Enable open exchange
To enable traffic with open exchange for Publisher PMP account, go to Buyer management in your Account settings and click Enable Open Exchange:
In a pop-up that appears, select Vertical(s):

Virtual buyer campaign will be automatically created in each vertical you select. You still can create additional virtual campaigns later in Campaigns overview.
Click Get started. A new buyer [PMP name] - Open Exchange is created and displayed in Buyer management table with Active status:
Manage virtual campaigns
The new Open Exchange buyer includes virtual campaigns created for the lead traffic between your Publisher PMP and Open Exchange.
To view campaigns of the virtual buyer, make search by OX buyer name in Campaign overview and click Apply filter:
Each virtual campaign is automatically named in a format [Account name] - Open Exchange - VERTICAL. It includes a set of OX campaigns that are eligible for the lead based on the vertical, their filters and other configurations.
Virtual buyers and campaigns have no usual settings and are used for clear reporting and PX lead offer routing.
To create one or multiple additional virtual campaigns, click Create Open Exchange campaign above the table and select verticals (campaign will be created per each vertical):

View limited Dashboard stats, including Lead volume, Average lead cost, Lead disposition and Sales funnel cards:
To pause the virtual buyer, go to Buyer management in Account settings, click on the arrow and select Paused:
As soon as the buyer is Paused, all related virtual campaigns become Disconnected in Campaign overview.
When this buyer is Active again, related campaigns become Paused, so activate them manually one by one:
To start the lead flow between private publishers and virtual campaigns to one Publisher PMP account, set up PX lead offer.
Set up PX lead offer
- Create PX lead offer in each vertical, where virtual campaigns were created for this PMP.
- Set routing instructions to distribute the lead flow between private and virtual campaigns.
Track the flow in reports
View information related to your private and virtual campaigns.
The information is available in the following places:
- Lead overview and Lead preview - info about virtual buyer who bought the lead:

- Transactions outbound report - view full list of ping, post and direct post transactions for the lead with private and virtual OX campaigns:
- Transactions ping post report - Ping calculation popup shows info about transactions with private campaigns connected to PMP.
