PX platform allows the creation of an unlimited number of buyer campaigns. However, when the campaign mode is Inactive in Source management and doesn't generate any traffic for longer than 30 days, there's a possibility that this campaign won't become active soon.
In order to optimize server resources, you can archive API configuration for inactive buyer campaigns and still make sure that the campaign can go live immediately if that's necessary.
Archive API configuration
To archive campaign API configuration, perform the following:
1. Go to Campaigns, find the desired lead campaign, and click Action -> API configuration.
2. Navigate to the left panel, click archive next to the Live since link:
Click Yes in the dialog box that appears:
Restore API configuration
If the campaign API configuration is archived, this means it doesn't participate in the lead flow and can't buy any leads.
If the campaign configuration is archived, the date and time when the campaign was archived is displayed with the restore link:
To get an archived campaign live again, click restore -> Yes in the dialog box:
Campaign API configuration will be immediately restored and this campaign will become eligible for buying leads.
Make sure you set campaign mode to Active in Source management to start buying leads.
Track changes in Audit log
Track changes made to campaign API configurations in Audit log, including date, time, and a user who archived or restored them:
Make a search by Campaign to find necessary logs.
