Ping Post Report shows the information about lead-posting processes between publishers and PX, including the detailed statistics about pings, posts and leads bought by PX.
This report is a convenient tool for tracking incoming leads on each stage of their flow (Pings -> Accepted Pings -> Posts -> Leads -> Revenue -> Margin), as well as for determination of PX success in the lead-posting process (Take Rate -> Acceptance Rate -> Win Percentage). The report provides you with extensive filtering options.
Ping Post Spreadsheet
To view this report, go to Reports -> Ping Post Report.
Ping Post spreadsheet can be sorted by columns. Click any column heading to sort the spreadsheet down, click one more time to sort it up.
You can also select columns to display, depending on the information you need. To modify the spreadsheet, click the gear icon in the upper right corner and select necessary checkboxes.
The following columns are displayed by default:
1. Date Time - a week, day or hour (depending on filter selected above), for which the information is presented. Daily breakdown is displayed by default.
2. Pings - the number of ping requests sent from publishers to PX. Click the value to view Ping Responses pie chart showing successful and error responses. Point the cursor on any segment to see the tooltip about the type and number of responses:
3. Accepted pings - the number of pings accepted by PX.
4. Bid Too Low is the difference between Accepted Pings and Posts, which shows the number of PX bids that were insufficient for publishers.
5. Posts - the number of post requests sent from publishers to PX. Click the value to view Post Responses pie chart showing success and error responses. Point the cursor on any segment to see the tooltip about the type and number of responses.
6. Leads - the number of leads sold on the post.
7. Avg Ping CPL shows the average bid for the lead reported to publishers on the ping. Click the value to view Ping Payout Spread chart showing the correlation between the number of leads and bid amounts reported to publishers.
8. Avg Ping RPL shows the average internal payout calculated in PX on ping. Click the value to view Ping Forecast spread chart showing the correlation between the number of pings and internal bids calculated.
9. Spend - the total amount of money paid by PX Owner to publishers for sold leads (reported to publishers in the post response).
10. Revenue - the total amount of money paid by buyers to PX Owner for leads they bought.
11. CPL - average cost for one lead paid by buyers to PX Owner. Click the value to view Calculated CPL Spread chart showing the correlation between the number of leads sold and buyer payouts.
12. RPL - average cost for one lead paid by PX to publishers. Click the value to view Reported CPL Spread chart showing the correlation between the number of leads sold and PX payouts.
13. Margin - margin received by PX owner (the difference between Revenues and Spending)
14. Margin % shows the ratio of Margin to Revenues in percentage.
15. Net Revenues - the difference between Revenues and Forecast return (taken from Daily Margin Report).
16. Net Spending shows the difference between Spending and Forecast pub return (taken from Daily Margin Report).
17. Net Margin shows the difference between Net revenues and Net spending
18. Net Margin % shows the ratio of Net margin to Net revenues in percentage.
19. Take Rate is the ratio of Accepted Pings to Pings, which shows the percentage of leads that PX bided on ping to the total number of ping requests.
20. Win % is the ratio of Leads to Accepted Pings, which shows how many bids PX won.
21. Acceptance Rate shows the ratio of Leads to Posts, which shows the percentage of sold Leads on Post to the total number of Posts requests sent to PX.
Take Rate, Win % and Acceptance Rate are the most important indicators of PX Owner’s success in the lead-posting process.
22. Ping Response Time shows the average processing duration of ping request for the corresponding period. Click the value to view Ping Response Time Spread chart showing the correlation between the number of pings and the processing time.
23. Post Response Time - shows the average processing duration of post requests for the corresponding period. Click the value to view Post Response Time Spread chart showing the correlation between the number of posts and the processing time.
24. Expected Legs - the average number of legs found on ping for the selected period.
25. Sold Shared shows how many times each shared lead was sold on average.
26. Sold Times is the ratio of leads sold in shared sales model to Leads.
Ping Post spreadsheet can be filtered by date, publisher (and publisher sub ID), vertical, post type (ping post or direct post), publisher manager, and also includes a red customizable filter, which allows grouping report data by period (Hour, Day, Week), vertical, publisher or state.
To filter the report by date, click on the date picker and select the preferred period or click the first and last dates of the period in the calendar.
To filter the report by publisher, vertical, post type or publisher manager, use corresponding drop-down menus:
If you select a particular publisher, Publisher Sub ID filter appears:
Enter the necessary publisher in a Search field if there is no item you need on the list. Click Reset to view data for all publishers.
When filtering the report by Direct Post post type, zero values are displayed in columns related to ping post activities:
The red filter allows you customizing ping post report using filtering by Hour, Day, Week, Vertical, Publisher or State:
Each selected filter will change the spreadsheet by replacing the first column and showing other values according to the filter.
Click Reset to view the default item (Day).
To visualize the report, click the black drop-down list and select one of the alternative charts (Stacked Area or Bubble chart):

Stacked Area Chart has two filters (blue and green) where any two columns of the report be selected for visual display:
Place the cursor on any point to see the tooltip.
When Bubble Chart is selected, three new filters appear (blue, green and red). These filters allow you to select three different columns of the report for visualization.
Point the cursor on any bubble to see the tooltip. Tooltips in the chart are colored in accordance with colors of corresponding filters.
To export the report, click Export Your Report at the bottom of the spreadsheet. Export Data pop-up window will appear:
Choose preferred separator (comma, semicolon or pipe) and click Proceed. A tooltip will appear in the upper right corner of the screen:
Click the tooltip to dismiss it.
You will receive the notification as soon as the report is ready for download. To download the report, go to Reports -> Export Downloads.
A page will appear showing all recently requested reports.
To download the report, click Action -> Download as CSV or XLSX file.
