Filter management allows filtering leads by first symbols of any lead attribute using In part and Not in part functions.
This option is very handy in case you need the following:
- To include or exclude phone numbers with a certain area code (three first digits of the phone number);
- To include or exclude certain vehicle models (for Auto verticals);
- To filter out not leads with the invalid email address (for example, exclude all emails starting with test).
Keep in mind that only first symbols of each lead attribute are taken into account. E.g. you cannot filter leads by a certain word that is located in the middle of the attribute.
There are three examples of using In part and Not in part functions below.
Excluding leads by area code
To exclude leads with certain area codes, select Phone number attribute -> Not in part match type (use Search field to find it) -> enter area to exclude from the leads flow, in our case 858,207,804,505
Excluding leads by emails starting from certain text
To exclude leads with emails starting from a certain text, select Email Address attribute -> Not in part match type (use Search field to find it) -> enter unwanted starting words of emails sent in the lead, separated by a comma: test, fake:
Including leads with certain vehicle models
To include only leads with certain vehicle models (only for campaigns from Auto verticals), select Model attribute -> Not in part match type (use Search field to find it) -> enter the vehicle series that to include in your leads flow, separated by comma: XJ-Series, E-Series:
